The latest Spider-Man movie – Across the Spider-Verse – has hit theaters, with Miles Morales once again teaming up with Peter Parker, Gwen Stacy and other Spider variants for yet another wild animated adventure.
Of course, not everyone can go to the cinema, so if you’re dying to know when this movie is expected to be released on streaming services, VOD and DVD/Blu-ray, we’ve got everything you need to know.

When could Across the Spider-Verse hit Netflix?
Sony currently has a first-look streaming deal with Netflix for its theatrical releases, so the movie is guaranteed to land here first before other streaming platforms like Disney+.
The agreement stipulates that films must run in theaters for at least 120 days. Across the Spider-Verse released June 2, 2023, so that would mean that we were able to see it on Netflix from September 30, 2023.
Of course, there’s no guarantee that the movie will arrive that early, especially if it does well at the box office. As soon as we know more, we’ll update this article.
About Spider-Verse’s potential VOD release date
Typically, VOD release dates are around the same time as streaming release dates, maybe even a little earlier.
For example, it took just over two months for Sony’s 2022 Morbius to be released on VOD. Of course, this movie wasn’t a real blockbuster, so if Across the Spider-Verse does better, it should take longer for a home release.
Based on that, we expect Across the Spider-Verse to be released on VOD around Fall 2023.
About Spider-Verse’s potential DVD/Blu-ray release date
Typically, physical home releases occur about a month after VOD releases, so based on our previous predictions, we expect Across the Spider-Verse to be released on DVD and Blu-ray in the mid to late fall.
