Another story of a man using a firearm to protect his life and property is likely to spark leftist attacks, this time when a pizza delivery boy in Philadelphia fought two alleged carjackers on Tuesday.
Of course liberals despise stories from Americans protect themselves with their legally carried firearms and upholding their Second Amendment rights because it quashes their untenable claim that guns cannot be used for good, that they are evil and should be taken out of everyone’s hands.
But don’t tell that to a 21-year-old pizza delivery boy who probably saved his own life and kept possession of his car when confronted by two alleged carjackers outside an apartment complex in the city’s Chestnut Hill neighborhood.
Philadelphia police say the delivery driver told them he was confronted by two gunmen who planned to rob him, according to WTXF TV.
However, the driver reportedly pulled out his own legally carried weapon and fired, hitting one of the alleged assailants in the lower back. The injured perpetrator was found near the scene when police arrived.
“At one point, the 21-year-old delivery driver was able to get out of the vehicle and confronted one of the perpetrators who had a gun and the 21-year-old delivery driver, as we know, fired at least two shots,” said Philadelphia Police Chief Scott Small. KYW TV.
Officers also say they recovered the perpetrator’s gun.
The injured man was taken to a hospital where he was guarded by the PPD.
The second suspect managed to escape and detectives are now looking for him. According to authorities, he probably fled to Springfield Township.
Officials are also questioning the victim’s brother, who was reportedly on the phone with the driver when the incident took place.
Americans, like the delivery boy in Philly, refuse to be victims of criminals. For example, a man posted a quick end to an attempted mass shooting at an apartment complex near the Las Vegas Strip.
But there are many, many others like this one.
Just to name a few, a burger last year stopped a man who apparently wanted to commit a mass shooting at a mall in Indiana, and another legal gun owner in Georgia in 2019 quickly ended what was a potential mass shooting in a bar.
Just a month ago, a pregnant woman converted her licensed firearm Stop two thugs who beat her husband and threatened their children in a parking garage in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Of course, stories like this happen almost every month.

Reed reported that “Weapons prevent an estimated 2.5 million crimes a year, or 6,849 each day.” The National Rifle Association added that Dr. John Lott’s Crime Prevention Research Center demonstrate that 34 percent of “active shooter” attacks are stopped or mitigated by legal gun owners responding to a shooting.
Fortunately, the left could not prevent these legally armed citizens from carrying the firearms they used to save lives. And thank goodness few people believe the left’s false claim that there is no such thing as a good man with a gun.
