CNN is set to host a town hall event for former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie in 2024 that will be moderated by far-left host, Anderson Cooper.
According to Real Clear Politics, Christie is currently polling at one percent.
Given its dismal polls, one has to wonder why CNN is covering this event.
The hill reports:
CNN holds town hall with Chris Christie on June 12
CNN will host Chris Christie in front of a town hall on June 12, when the former governor of New Jersey makes a winning bid for the Republican presidential nomination.
The CNN announcement Tuesday came shortly after Christie formally entered the 2024 race, joining a growing number of Republican candidates seeking to run against former President Trump, who has far outperformed his competitors in recent polls.
Christie will be the fourth candidate to join CNN for a town hall seat. CNN has already hosted town halls with Trump and Nikki Haley, the governor of South Carolina, and the network will hold the next Wednesday with former Vice President Mike Pence…
Christie’s Town Hall will be moderated by CNN anchor Anderson Cooper, who will answer questions from audience members and ask his own prepared list of questions.
This causes some people on the left to ask obvious questions.
So Democratic challengers to Biden who vote in double digits won’t get town hall from CNN, but Chris Christie will?
What’s the logic? https://t.co/ybNagzuFSs

Chris Christie polls at 0%. Marianne scores 11%. CNN invites Christie to a town hall and never asked Marianne. Shameless hacks. https://t.co/AzFulHX6gt

RFK Jr, a Democratic challenger to Biden polling close to 20%, doesn’t even get any real attention let alone a CNN town hall…but Chris Christie, polling 0%, does he? https://t.co/uT0QFrvWLj

How do you think this will score in the ratings?
Will anyone actually tune in and watch?
