Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) has been trying to impeach President Joe Biden for months, but isn’t happy that other Republicans are trying too.
In fact, multiple sources told The Daily Beast that Greene Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.) a”little bitchon Wednesday after the Republican from Colorado announced she has introduced a privileged resolution forcing the House to vote on whether to impeach Biden.
Boebert uses a procedural tool to force a vote on her own impeachment resolution within days, something Greene’s own resolution to impeach Biden lacked. However, Boebert’s resolution lacks the support of the Republican leadership and is unlikely to pass the House, let alone the Democrat-controlled Senate.
In fact, all the resolution seems to do is anger Greene, who was reportedly so angry Boebert stole her impeachment thunder that she cursed her fellow congressman on the House floor.
Sources told The Daily Beast that’s when it started Boebert confronted Greene about “statements you have made about me in public.”
During the exchange, Greene allegedly accused Boebert of copying her articles of impeachment and Boebert responded that she had not read the Georgia legislature’s resolution.
“I donated to you, I defended you. But you’ve been nothing but a bitch to me,” Greene told Boebert, a source told The Daily Beast. “And you copied my articles of impeachment after I asked you to co-sponsor them.”
Three sources confirmed that Greene called Boebert a “bitch”.
Boebert reportedly replied to Greene’s complaints, “OK, Marjorie, we’re done,” shrugging her shoulders.
Neither Greene nor Boebert immediately responded to JS’s request for comment.
Green told reporters on Wednesday she supported Boebert’s resolution, but “made it clear to the [Republican] conference that I have literally since introduced articles of impeachment Joe Bidenfirst day in office on this Ukraine issue.
“She basically copied my articles and then introduced them and then turned them into a privileged resolution,” Greene said.
However, Boebert insisted to JS that she had done nothing of the sort.
“I’m not in high school. This is not a copycat game,” she told JS’s Arthur Delaney.
“Copying her would be for her to go and demand a vote on the floor, and then I’ll go and do it right after.”
