The alleged makeup thieves dubbed the “Wheat Ridge Kardashians” in a now-viral Facebook post by local law enforcement have been busted in California.
Wheat Ridge police say a trio of women were caught on surveillance video on May 28 stealing $1,443 in products from a Wheat Ridge Ulta store.
The department penned a tongue-in-cheek social media post about the alleged theft, which has since gone viral. According to the post, the women “looked like the Wheat Ridge Kardashians.”
“What do you need cosmetics for – obviously your makeup game is already up,” read a post on the department’s Facebook page. “We wish we had been there at the same time and could have connected at this point, but we’re confident you’ll be back as the Ulta staff say you’re regulars.”
