Jamie said he has demanded documents from Vlasov to support his claims, but has not yet received any documents to support his claims.
“Jamie has a right of discovery regarding Britney’s allegations, the documents Britney claims support those allegations, and the documents Britney represents will be used at trial,” the motion said.

“His excuse is a bizarre and inaccurate invocation of his Fifth Amendment rights. Vlasov’s Fifth Amendment rights (which did not prevent him from voluntarily submitting documents to others) provide no justification for failing to provide documents to Jamie in response to Jamie’s valid subpoena,” Jamie’s attorney wrote.
Jamie said he had tried to obtain documents from Britney’s hired expert, but was shown around. Britney’s father said the expert issued a statement supporting the whistleblower’s claim.

He said the expert stated that she “personally reviewed the communications provided [her] by Mr. Vlasov from his personal devices.” However, Jamie said no one showed him the alleged messages.
Jamie’s lawyer previously said: “As it stands, there are a core set of documents which apparently form the basis of Britney and Jamie’s case none of them can obtain through discovery. This is not the law. Jamie must be given a full and fair opportunity to defend the claims against him.”
Jamie said Vlasov should be punished for refusing to provide the documents in question. A judge has yet to rule.
