Chris Brown has demanded his ex-housekeeper for a mental exam after she claimed she was traumatized by watching the singer’s dog reportedly maul her sister, RadarOnline.com has learned.
According to court documents obtained by RadarOnline.com, the entertainer has asked a court to compel his former employee Patricia Avila to appear to be grilled by a medical professional.
As RadarOnline.com first reported, Brown was hit two lawsuits about an incident where his dogs attacked Avila’s sister.
Avila sought unspecified damages for the emotional distress she suffered when she witnessed her sister being mauled by Brown’s Caucasian Orvchake/Caucasian Sheepdog named Hades.
Avila’s sister filed her own lawsuit, seeking $71 million in damages for her injuries.
In Avila’s case, Brown said his ex-housekeeper does not claim to have been bitten by the dog, but only claimed to have suffered and is “still mentally injured as a result of” the attack.
“[Avila] stated that she still suffers from symptoms of emotional distress and that she still needs ongoing treatment to address those issues,” his motion read.
Brown said his legal team made numerous attempts to plan an investigation for Avila, but was unsuccessful.
The singer said that the exam will last 8 hours with several tests. A judge has yet to rule.
As RadarOnline.com first reported, Brown denied all allegations of wrongdoing in the separate case. He accused Avila’s sister of provoking his dog who caused the attack.
He accused Doe of causing her injuries when she “teased, abused and mistreated” the animal.
Brown’s attorney wrote:[Doe] mentioned the injuries now being complained about and took the risk of them with full knowledge of the magnitude of that risk, in that she knew that her previous behavior could lead the dog to attack and seriously injure her, both of which events would have occurred has occurred.”
