Diana Jenkins has dropped the lawsuit she filed to expose those who may be responsible for cyberbullying Garcelle Beauvaisteenage son, Jax, after she “got no response” from her ex-Real Housewives of Beverly Hills costar on how to proceed with the case.
In a new request obtained by RadarOnline.com, Diana said that after the court “raised concerns” she was not the right person to pursue the case, her legal team contacted Garcelle’s lawyer to see “if she would join the lawsuit as a plaintiff” . Diana “even offered to cover all of her legal costs associated with the lawsuit.”
According to the motion filed Wednesday in Los Angeles, Diana “has not received a response from Ms. Beauvais.” The filing also states that Diana went a step further and “contacted NBC Universal (the owner of the Bravo television network that broadcasts the ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’) and informed NBC Universal of her efforts to identify the perpetrator(s). , but got no response.”
“In light of the lack of response and assistance and despite the fact that she has spent tens of thousands of dollars, Ms. Jenkins has concluded that she cannot proceed with this lawsuit at this time,” the lawsuit read, adding: “Ms. Jenkins submits a Request for Resignation without Prejudice.”
The lawsuit also pointed out that Diana was closing in on those who may have been linked to the cyberbullying of Garcelle’s son.
“Many of the Instagram account holders had concealed their identities by using disposable email addresses and foreign phone numbers,” the lawsuit read, which found several linked to Ivory Coast and Mongolia.
The lawsuit also revealed that she “worked with a computer forensic expert” who “identified a potential name behind one of the accounts” with Northern California IP addresses. Although the new submission contains the initial and last name of the possible culprit, RadarOnline.com chooses not to publish the information.
Despite identifying the “service providers for the IP addresses such as Comcast and Verizon”,RHOBH star “could not determine who was using the IP addresses.”
“This action is intended to morally bankrupt person who assaulted a child and placed the blame for his/her actions on Ms Jenkins,” the suit read.
“Diana is a humanitarian who opposes all forms of hate, especially racism directed against a child,” the source told RadarOnline.com at the time. “Whoever did this must and will face the consequences of his actions.”
