Genshin Impact will get its patch 3.7 content in just over a week, as HoYoverse plans to release the update on May 24. That’s in 9 days. And players can dive in next Wednesday.
As is the case with all Genshin Impact patches, version 3.7 allows players to pre-install the game data. It is highly recommended to do this if you want to play as soon as everything goes live. If you don’t, you can still play on the day of the day, but you’ll eventually have to wait a while for the installation to complete. And if you get excited to play the new content, chances are you’ll want to play it ASAP.
The other thing to remember is timing. Patch 3.7 will not be immediately live for Genshin Impact players on May 24. The patches will actually go live a little later today.
Genshin Impact patch 3.7 adds new maps to TCG game mode
Last year, Genshin Impact got a TCG game mode called Genius Inovkation that launched as part of patch 3.3. Since the release of this mode, it has been quite popular. And new maps are added with every patch.
The same goes for patch 3.7. That is set to add 60 new cards for players to use. The new maps will be part of the King of Invokation Grand Prix event associated with the patch. The event will feature 4 TCG themed mini-games where players can purchase the new cards to place in their own deck. 10 of the new cards will be characters, including the 4 archons.
In addition to the new TCG event, there will be a new four-star playable character. Kirara is a 4 star Dendro sword wielder with some unique abilities. Patch 3.7 will be available to play on all platforms next week. In the meantime, you can check out its official trailer above.
