Grand jurors who will consider the charges against President Trump in Georgia will be selected Tuesday.
Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis recently said she will announce this summer whether she will indict Trump for crimes in the investigation into Trump’s attempt to challenge the results of Georgia’s 2020 presidential election.
Fani Willis told the Fulton County Sheriff to prepare for heightened security at the Fulton County Courthouse between July 11 and September 1.
It appears Willis expects the grand jury to drop charges against Trump in August.
According to a report from the New York Times, Willis asked judges at a downtown Atlanta courthouse not to schedule any trials for the first three weeks of August.
The grand jury will consist of 23 grand jurors and three alternates.
WSB TV reported:
The Georgia case against former President Donald Trump could be a big step forward on Tuesday as the selection process is scheduled to begin before the grand jury that could consider charges against him and others.
It shouldn’t be a long, drawn-out process to choose the grand jury, made up of 23 grand jurors and three alternates.
They won’t decide guilt or innocence, only if Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis has enough evidence to advance her election interference case and who should be charged.
Fani Willis is considering RICO and conspiracy charges against Trump over his efforts to contest the 2020 election, according to a leak to CNN.
Last January, Fulton County Georgia District Attorney Fani Willis requested a special grand jury in its investigation into former President Donald Trump’s attempts to overturn Georgia’s fraudulent 2020 election results.
Fani Willis based her investigation on President Trump’s phone call to Georgia officials, which was later manipulated and leaked to the Washington Post fake news channel. The WaPo published a completely fraudulent text of the call. These false accusations have already been debunked by The Gateway Pundit and others.
Again – Willis and her handlers investigate a now-infamous phone call between former President Trump and Sec. of State Brad Raffensperger, in which Trump pressured the Georgia SOS to uncover what he believed was fraud that would destroy Georgia’s election results.
The infamous phone conversation between Trump and Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger was recorded by Raffensperger and his office. Raffensperger’s team subsequently leaked and lied to the far-left Washington Post about it.
Georgia’s special grand jury investigating Trump’s attempt to contest the 2020 election recently recommended issuing multiple indictments after a meeting lasting several months.
Fani Willis is now considering racketeering and conspiracy charges against Trump, claiming there is “evidence” that Trump’s attempt to contest the Georgia election did not originate as a popular movement in the state.
