Psaki then criticized the former South Carolina governor who was running for president in 2024 Nikki Haley which on Sunday morning recognized Trump’s verdict on sexual assault but did not convict the former president because of the jury’s findings.

“The problem for them is no matter how hard they try to twist themselves as the party of family values to create false controversies, that’s hard to do with a straight face,” concluded Psaki, “since the de facto leader of their party has now branded as a sexual abuser.”
