Of course, everything Taylor Swift touches turns to gold – or viral in this case.
When Taylor was seen wearing the lavender (Taylor’s signature color) Popflex Pirouette Skort ($60) in her #ForAFortnightChallenge YouTube video on April 19, it sold out in 15 minutes.
The skort is a patented design created by Cassey Ho, founder of Popflex. It’s a tiered tulle circle skirt that comes in over 10 colors with pockets on both sides of the inner shorts, allowing you to do cartwheels without fear.
Well, the sporty Pirouette Skort is back AND available for preorder in Digital Lavender (the only color that’s not sold out). Preorders won’t ship out until August, so here are some cute alternatives while you wait:
Halara Mesh Mini Flare Skort
This Halara option doesn’t have the layers but it has the same flowy vibe as the Popflex one. It comes in a few other colors for $32.95.
Meikulo Smocked Ruffle Mini Skirt
While this option doesn’t have the whispy tulle, it does have the layers and is in the same pretty lavender hue. What it doesn’t have are shorts underneath, so no cartwheels. The best part is that you can get it right now for $29.98.
Aerie Maggie Ruffle Tennis Skirt
This flirty, sporty skort from Aerie is made of a similar ultra soft fabric with built-in shorts and tiers of pretty ruffles. It’s on sale for $35.97.
